The substance nepetalactone acts like an opioid for 5 to 30 minutes on the dearest four-legged friends. Anxiety-relieving and calming, but also euphoric, mint increases your velvet paws' urge to move and invites them to play.

The smell of valerian has a sedative effect on our bundles of fur - with the side effect of an urge to move. Depending on the four-legged friend, valerian also has a different effect; instead of a few minutes of romping fun, they get the most relaxed time they can possibly have, almost as if they had stepped away. The substance sesquiterpene is responsible for this.
